- Are you messy or organized? – Both, I put things carefully away then forget where I put them.
- What do you want to share through your blog? – My writing, my many interests, caring for the environment and FUN.
- Do you like origami? – No, I can only make a paper aeroplane.
- What was your favourite childhood game? – Running around playing horses.
- What was your favourite food that your parents cooked? – Sunday roast and macaroni cheese.
- What is your current favourite food? – Roast vegetables and brown rice, Sunday roast and macaroni cheese. Macaroni Cheese is a bit of a family tradition, all our children and grandchildren love it. It is the real thing made from scratch; milk and strong cheddar for a homemade white sauce.
- Something you collect? – Picture post cards since I was eight years old.

I was tempted by the transport question. I guess most folk would go for a car. Luckily I live near enough to a station to go for a train but if I had a load of luggage that might be difficult and they aren’t privately owned, anyway. A helicopter would be OK except they need a space to land. I can’t ride a bike. The family are into scooters ( bikes, not toys) in a big way ( See stickyfeatures) but I’ve never been on one. I found riding a horse most uncomfortable. I nearly bought a trike last year and that seems a good option except in bad weather. How about a mobility scooter? I’m old enough but not yet quite infirm enough. I know- a caravanette. I’ve always wanted one which is why my books are full of people in mobile homes.Sorted.

Excellent choice Julie. When we are no longer allowed to use petrol and the electricity has been turned off, at least you can still live in it! My new novel ( not published yet ) is about a ‘camper van detective’. I am always envious when friends goes off across the channel in their camper vans.

Thanks Dragon Warrior, good answers. I would choose a horse as well, I love watching any historical dramas when they just leap on their horses and go. My other answers –
1. My desk top computer as I do everything there, but when I’m away from home I love my smart phone as I can take pictures and be on line.

2 To live – town or country? There is no question about it. Country. I love open spaces, and if I am able to get my dream home, I would have a few hens and a rooster so I could hear him in the mornings, and I would also have at least one beehive, a garden of vegetables, a herb garden, fruit trees, and lots of pretty flowering plants. I don’t need to be near a lot of other people to have a wonderful time. Just reading all the good books I could and entertaining my six chihuahuas and cat and two goldfish and two alien catfish is enough for me. I like people, but have spent my entire life around them and I am happy with just my significant other, a quiet type of life, and the simplest of things. I have accumulated through my many years enough tools and supplies to keep me busy for the rest of my life. Thank you for these questions.

If GPS counts as an electronic gadget, that’s my pick. It’s the greatest invention of my time. Maybe I’m a bit geographically challenged but don’t tell anyone. 😁

1 – Not really an electronic gadget, but a gadget with electronic innards – our new induction hob. I love it
2 – Country, every time.
3 – Depends on the location
4 – Kindle for most things, but a paper backup for my favourites. The whole licencing rather than owning a book does not sit well with me.
5 – Get rid of the old white men – just kidding … partially.
6 – A steampunk dirigible.
7 – Homebody with occasional fits of itchy feet.

Thanks, great answers. I like my gas hob, but I haven’t tried induction. No. 5 sounds good as long as I get to keep the one in my house who has a few uses… Steampunk dirigible is the best transport choice so far…

Congrats on the award! Out of curiosity, how many postcards do you have? You’ve already beaten me on the origami front as I’ve never been able to make a paper aeroplane. I might visit YouTube later and rectify that!
